Services for all your Pet Care needs!

I provide in-home pet care while you’re away, whether you are on vacation or spending long hours at work. Most pets experience less stress in the absence of their owners if they can remain in the comfort and safety of their own home. Staying at home also means no travel trauma or exposure to illness of other animals.

Most importantly, your pet receives personal attention. I treat all of the animals in my care as if they were my own, making every effort to accommodate your pet's schedule, exercise routine, and other individual needs. You can feel comfortable that your pet is in responsible and capable hands!

I have completed a series of canine obedience classes. While I am not a trainer, I understand positive reinforcement and can be consistent with your training while you are away.

I have also taken a course in Pet First Aid with the American Red Cross.

In addition, through completion of in-depth educational coursework offered by Pet Sitters International, I am certified as a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter.

Meet and Greet

My introductory visit with you and your pet(s) is free of charge. At that time, I’ll ask you to complete a questionnaire, which covers your pet's personality traits, special needs, veterinary and emergency contact information. If you choose me to take care of your pet, I will require a signed service contract/veterinary release form and a key or entrance code for your home.

Pet Care

Service is tailored to your pet’s needs and your schedule. I can provide a mid-day dog walk or complete vacation care visits.

Service might include:

DOGS
• leashed walk
• let-out to fenced yard
• poop scoop

CATS
• locating a shy kitty to make sure he’s okay
• scooping litterbox

GENERAL
• providing fresh food and water
• treats
• playtime with a favorite toy
• petting
• combing or brushing
• simple administration of medications
• clean up of messes

ALL visits include plenty of TLC!

Additional services offered:
• bringing in the mail and newspapers
• alternating lights, curtains and blinds
• watering indoor and outdoor plants
• filling bird feeders
• turning TV or radio on and off
• taking the garbage/recycling up and back.

Fees

A 30-minute Pet Care Visit is $20. There is no additional charge for time of day or holidays.
